This project has allowed me to accomplish multiple goals I had for myself. I wanted to set more time aside to draw, strengthen my compositions, challenge myself by making use of what I have, and post more consistently on social media. Ultimately, I would love to turn some of these into larger paintings, and I think this challenge has been producing some cool layouts so far. Im excited to see what else I come up with!

Daily doodle two: Maybe there’s comfort in defeat.

The irony in scrapping a page of a misprinted book stopped me from starting over when I ripped the page with the masking tape early on in the doodle. I’m already accepting someone else’s defeat and I went as far as to purchase a notebook full of ruined prints. 😅 There’s really not a lot of pressure when drawing in these pages because of it! It’s been relaxing and refreshing to doodle each day, and I’m excited to build the habit :)
